Our history
We were founded in 1983 at a time when a large number of believers wanted to experience church as it was described in the Bible. This included powerful experiences of God and the supernatural. Often it was impossible to achieve this in the churches they were in, so they left and formed new churches, like ours.
At first they met in people's homes but as they grew they moved to hired halls and later acquired buildings of their own as we have. Originally called Emmanuel Fellowship, we were more widely known as Romford Community Church meeting for several years in Gidea Park Primary School. We have been meeting in Rise Park since the summer of 2005.
More recently, we've changed our name to KingsHeart Church - feeling that this truly reflects our values, uniqueness and God's heart of love for all.
